Building
upon innovations that made the JACE W550 the world's most advanced
portable wrist CPM, the JACE H440 introduces a truly innovative
tool for the treatment hand injuries.
A
sophisticated, fully programmable controller enables the clinician to
fine tune motion to fit the patient’s precise therapy
requirements. From early post-operative application though later rehab
phases, the H440 will provide effective, safe, comfortable, and
reliable operation.
Innovations unique to the JACE H440 include a warm-up mode that
gently and gradually progresses to the full range of programmed motion
and a new dynamic tension mode (DT) that can be set to
automatically modulate between CPM and DT. This feature converts CPM
to low-load prolonged stress to the tissues with the microprocessor
"reading" tissue resistance and automatically adjusting
range-of-motion.
The H440
also incorporates a dual finger drive system that distributes
force to the proximal and distal phalanx simultaneously.
