Suzanne, I wanted to
write to Thank You for your presentation on June 9, 2004 for the
Phoenix GENEX location. Our staff found your presentation very helpful
and informative. I personally felt like you went above and beyond by
obtaining the CCM approval for your presentation in such short order
before you met with us. It was a pleasure to get to know you better
and I wish you continued success in the future. Perhaps I will see you
at the next RING meeting in September!

Dear Suzanne, Thank you,
thank you, thank you. The JACE CPM that you lent me did wonders toward
helping me to use my left hand. It seemed like it took forever for me
to get back the use of my fingers and wrist. With time I hope to be
able to close the hand completely. The CPM machine lent to some
interesting conversations as to wheat it was to do and why I was using
it. Believe me, it certainly helped to give my fingers and wrist that
needed push to bend and unbend. Somehow my hand has had problems for
it still freezes up on me whenever it is cold but it appears that that
is something I am going to have to live with for now. However, I can
now do many things that I was not able to do before therapy and the
use of the JACE CPM. Again, thank you for your time and generosity in
letting me use the JACE CPM. May the Lord bless you and keep you and
may he shine his face upon you.

On January 14, 2004 I had surgery on my
left shoulder for a rotator cuff. My injury was one month previous. In
that time, I was told by the doctor and rehab therapist that I had a
frozen shoulder. I was introduced to Suzanne who had the CPM Machine
that would move my shoulder around to try to loosen it up. In just the
first week of having the machine in my home, the therapist
noticed quite a noticeable change in the range of my movement of my
arm. As time went on, my therapist had moved me on to strengthening
with weights and elastic bands. The strengthening then overrode the
use of the machine and I felt that I wasn't getting anything from the
use of the machine to loosen up. I could then loosen my shoulder up in
just a few minutes of therapy at home. But I do thank you for the
introduction to the machine and what it did do in the time that I did
have it. The therapist did notice quite a change though.

I would like to thank you for
recommending the use of this device to my doctor. I was told to
start using the machine as soon as possible after my shoulder
operation. I had both of my shoulders operated within two months
of each other. The CPM got me moving my arms very quickly, which
made my recovery quite fast. Without the use of the CPM my
recovery would have taken a lot longer. What surprised me the
most was there was no pain while using the machine in the proper
manner. Within three days of use I was able to raise my arm
above my head, also able to put my arm behind my back with little
pain. As a recent recipient of the benefits that this equipment
provided for me, I would not hesitate to recommend this device to
anyone undergoing shoulder surgery.

I would like to take a
few minutes and tell you how much the JACE Knee CPM helped my
situation I am 33 years old and am just under 8 weeks post-op
from my third knee surgery that was in March 2003, in which I had a
cadaver graft to stabilize a medial tracking patella. The first
two surgeries were of mostly debridement and then a wide lateral
release. I have had problems with my knee since January of 2002
this is the first time that I have had such a quick recovery from such
an extensive surgery. My first two surgeries had me down and out
for more than a month. These were done without the use of the
CPM after post-op. On my third I had to stay in the hospital in
which they immediately, after the procedure connected me to the CPM.
I would like to say this was painful due to the lack of pain killers
on the hospitals part. After proper medication it wasn't a
problem. I used the machine at home also for about five days.
I was able to move around and get out of bed much better than in past
procedures. If there are any more procedures to be completed I
will will definitely ask to be put on the CM.

It is with great
appreciation that I write this letter in praise of your company.
I underwent a total knee reconstruction which involved sawing the
tibia and realigning the tibia tubercle. I also underwent an
intensive arthroscopic procedure to treat severe chondromalacia
patellae. I am now five weeks post-op and my physician calls me
one of his miracle cases. I have healed "well ahead of schedule"
and most of this is due to my faithful use of your product - JACE
Anatomical Knee. The very night before my admission I was
contacted by your representative, Tom, who was caring, kind and very
informative. The machine was delivered to my home and set up by
Tom who gave complete instruction to myself and my husband on its use.
Most impressively, I was contacted once a week by Tom to ensure all
was well. I have had friends who underwent knee surgeries
without the benefit of the JACE machine and have been told their
recovery time was much longer than mine. This whole situation is
doubly important to me since I am a healthy 41 year old woman who
enjoys swimming, golf and walking. To put an exclamation point
on this is that I must undergo the same procedure in three months on
my left knee. The Doctor had predicted I wouldn't have been
healed satisfactorily until nine months post-op to undergo the left
knee surgery, but due to my very impressive healing, I am on the fast
track and will be able to enjoy my favorite activities much sooner
than expected)! Without a doubt, I credit my doctor, your
company, your product and your kind representatives with my speedy
recovery. It goes without saying that I am deeply grateful to
you all. See you in another three months!

Due to a car accident in
June 2002, my right foot, ankle and heel were severely damaged.
I had a shattered heel, fractured ankle and fractured heel. I
was in physical therapy until March of 2003. At that time, the
therapist could not get any range of motion in the side to side.
She recommended that possibly the CPM unit may be helpful for me.
I did use the CPM unit and have been able to get some motion in my
ankle going from side to side - I did not have the problem with the up
& down range of motion. The surgeon and the osteopath were
pleased to see motion in my foot. This unit was given to me
going into ten months from the time of the accident. I feel that
it did help and the people who have known me and see me have noticed
that I am walking better. I started with a very low setting and
changed the setting every two to three days for the time that I rented
the CPM unit. I believe this could be a great tool to be used
earlier in the healing process and also available through the physical
therapy centers as part of their program. My own surgeon did not
know it did side to side motion and was recommending surgery to fuse
the ankle movement. That was not an option at the time - perhaps
later down the way if I continue to have problems with the ankle.
The CPM unit was easy to use - while reading or watching TV - the unit
does all the work. Thank you for making me aware of this before
my foot had completely healed and there was no choice but to do
surgery.

Dear Suzanne, I have
been telling everybody about the JACE Shoulder CPM and the wonderful
service you have given me by coming into my home to set it up, train
me, change the settings periodically and just plain being there for
me. My shoulder has been frozen for almost a year now and my
range of motion is at about 95%. The insurance for physical
therapy ran out long ago. I wish I could have had the JACE and
PT in combo. It would have helped to have had it sooner. I
have very little pain now and the JACE is so easy as compared to
setting up pulleys on your door and quitting the workout way to soon.
You don't have to schedule it into your day as everyone watches TV or
reads or as I do-does crosswords while I'm sitting there. My
phone, snacks and drinks are in easy reach...such a deal! Thank
you again for all your help.

In July of this year I
had a full ACL reconstruction of the left knee. The first week
of recovery was difficult and painful with my leg immobilized the
first five days. I had been assigned limited exercises to do
while in the immobilizer but felt little but continuous stiffness and
pain.
Eight days after surgery
Suzanne delivered to me a continuous passive motion machine, which I
used four times a day for 20 minutes each time. By the second
day of use I noticed increased facility with extension and flexion.
By the fourth day my ability to walk through my stride had been
enhanced significantly. There is no question in my mind that the
continuous motion prevented the constant stiffening up of the joint
throughout the day. I wish I'd begun using it immediately after
surgery.
By the fourth or fifth
week I had no need for it an now in my tenth week, my knee has healed
beautifully and I am walking briskly on a treadmill everyday. My
physical therapist is impressed with my recovery. There is no
doubt that the CPM machine was a beneficial and necessary part of my
successful rehabilitation from all surgery.

Over the last 27 years
as a Physician Assistant, I have cared for many post-surgical knee
patients in Army Airborne units, sports and industrial medicine
settings. I have personally undergone five knee procedures.
Following my most recent surgery last Wednesday, I was fitted with a
DeRoyal Cold Therapy unit. The benefit was remarkable. I
slept through the first night without pain medication and was riding
my bicycle again two days post-op. I will recommend this device
for my patients.

I am writing this letter
to let you know how pleased I am with the results I have attained
since using the JACE Wrist CPM with dynamic tension mode.
In May 2001, I fell and
broke my right wrist. Several months after surgery was performed
on the wrist, my doctor sent me to therapy. The sessions were
helpful, however, I did not have the full range of motion/flexibility
that I should have had. I was also ordered a dynamic tension
splint which resulted in very little improvement. In February
2002, my doctor suggested that I use the JACE Wrist CPM. The
JACE representative came to my place of business and programmed the
device for me. After using it for three nights, the flexibility
of my wrist was much better and continued to improve the more I used
the machine. My doctor even noticed the improvement.
The therapy sessions
have been a benefit to me, however, using the JACE Wrist CPM with
dynamic tension mode has greatly improved the flexibility in my wrist.

My leg was put on the
JACE CPM in the hospital and it immediately made motion feel
comfortable. When I came home a machine had been brought to the
house and was ready to use. I actually looked forward to my
hours on the CPM because its use and my PT knee exercises I firmly
think the healing I've attained in a short period of time has been in
part due to the machine. Suzanne, it was so nice to meet you and
know what a personable young woman you are. Thank you.

Your pictures and CPM
were great. They helped me to make our presentation much more
effective.
You helped us get an "A"
on our presentation. We really appreciate it.
Thank you so much for
all your time and effort to help us with our presentation. It
was a great success. The class really appreciated all of the
pictures and the demonstration of the CPM.

The CPM device was very
helpful to my wife. After the operation, she had very limited
mobility in all toes. The CPM machine made the post-operative
therapy effective. Our ability to regulate the range of motion,
and increase it over time, helped make the recovery go easier and
faster. Your therapist, Tony was super! Be proud of
him.

On June 26, 2003 I had
rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. The following day I
started CPM therapy for about 5 to 6 weeks, about 5 to 6 hours a day.
There was practically no pain at all. I kept my arm in a sling
for the entire time that I was on CPM. I had expected to go on
Physical Therapy after my six weeks were finished. When I went
back to the doctor the first thing he did was to take away my sling.
Then he asked me if I had tried to life my arm up at all. He was
really surprised when I lifted my arm all the way up without any
trouble at all. I then put it around the back of my neck and
around my lower back again with no problem. Instead of Physical
Therapy he told me to continue do my own with the exercises that I had
just done several times a day.

Thank you very much for
the use of the continuous passive machine "CPM" for my shoulder. At
first I didn't think I would like putting my arm in it and keep it
moving around because it hurt when I moved it, that's when I learned
about the difference between active and passive motion.
Active motion tightened
up my muscles and caused pain without the CPM. Passive motion
releases tightness and causes juices to flow. I could not have
made it through my first post operation night without it. My
pain management was unsuccessful and unbearable until I decided to use
it.
I could not have done it
without it. Instead of fighting, all I have to do is relax in
it. Sometimes it would make me so sleepy that I would forget all
about pain. I started very small and processed at my own
discretion. I recommend passive motion machine anytime.

Due to a broken wrist my
shoulder froze and I was in therapy from August to December.
Progress was slow and I had to have surgery and in the process my
shoulder was fractured. I was then in a sling for 6 weeks and my
shoulder was back to square one. I feel my chair, JACE Systems
CPM, was wonderful in bringing my shoulder around to near normal.
I highly recommend.
P. Natalizio, Margate, FL
I was very fortunate
that my doctor recommended the JACE Toe CPM unit to me. I used
it for almost a month and noticed a tremendous difference in the
movement of the toe, as compared to trying to exercise without the
machine. I'd like to hear that more doctors know of it and
recommend it to their patients. I'd also like to know Medicare
and insurance companies are going to pay towards the amounts charged
to patients who need this treatment.
A very satisfied
customer,
- F. Stein, Pembroke Pines, FL
I
just wanted to let you know how fabulous I feel the JACE shoulder
CPM device was after my recent rotator cuff surgery. As you advised
me, and I totally agree, by using this machine immediately after
surgery it prevented scar tissue from forming and kept my shoulder
mobile. Without "My Chair" as I called it, I honestly believe I
would not be at the stage I am today. I can't imagine how people
progress quickly without such a device. I can only believe their
rehab would move at a greatly reduced rate. I also want to thank you
for your timeand effort in explaining everything to me about the CPM
machine. You made me feel very comfortable in its operation and
adjusting the settings. Once again thank you for everything. I
would definitly recommend the CPM device for anyone who had shoulder
surgery. Plus you can do it right from your own home. -L.
